For over 46 years, Vernon County Ambulance District has proudly served the 837 square miles and 20,437 residents of Vernon County, Missouri. With two full-time advanced life support crews available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, plus a daytime third truck, we deliver professional paramedic-level care whenever and wherever it is needed.

Comprehensive Emergency and Non-Emergency Medical Care

911 Emergency Response

Immediate advanced life support for all medical emergencies.

Advanced Life Support (ALS)

Full paramedic care with cardiac monitoring, IV therapy, medication administration, and advanced airway management.

Critical Care Transport

Stabilization and transport of critically ill or injured patients with specialized equipment and trained crews.

Inter-Facility Transfers

Safe, professional transfers between hospitals, nursing homes, dialysis centers, and other medical facilities.

Special Event Medical Standby

On-site EMS coverage for local events, sports, festivals, and community gatherings.
